"I loved them - beautiful fit, beautiful feel - merino wool so didn't need to wash them often - and wore them almost daily through last winter and last autumn. I thought they would last for years - but a few weeks ago thin patches arose in several places, they became holes, I repaired several holes, but then gave up - too many. Less than a year, ie about five months of winter weather wearing doesn't seem very good value to me."
