Women's Hooded Coat with Zip in Organic Boiled Merino Wool

"I think I can say that "I like the concept", but it's not exactly like in the pictures for me personally. Maybe it's my body type that's different than average. Petite, flat, short woman. I usually go up a size to feel comfortable in clothes, and this was no exception. The other items I ordered were very good, but this was far too large for me to wear the way it is shown in the pictures, the zip open. And zipped up it looked like a shapeless tent on me. It's also large for me at the shoulders, otherwise I could have just sewn it in a little at the sides to make it wearable. But the shoulders are out of place for me, hanging way too low and not fitting. When I said that I like the "concept", I would like to see this a bit more finished or finalized, as it has cut edges instead of sewn hem. This is a particular style for someone who likes it. "Absolutely love this coat and can't wait for the weather to turn cooler so I can wear it more. Its so nice to have finally found a pure wool, long coat for a reasonable price. I ordered the grey colour - was concerned it would be too dark but like it now its arrived as its quiet and goes with everything.

Sizing seems fairly generous but not too big - will accommodate a jumper and should give a bit of leeway in case it shrinks a bit with washing.

The sleeves are great - I always find sleeves too long (and these are very long), but as there is no cuff/hem, they can be folded back as much as you like (I've folded mine over twice), but would also look fine unfolded.

It's also surprisingly lightweight - I thought it would be heavy as previous "wool" mix coats I've tried have been heavy and stiff, but just goes to show its the synthetic fibres they're mixed with that make them so! This one is lightweight and slightly stretchy, which makes it fit better and allows more movement.
