I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"I bought 1 pack for my son and they were so comfortable and good after being washed that we acquired 2 more packs (if not 3!). He is definitely on the heavy side and the biggest size fitted"

I'd recommend this to a friend.

"I machine wash these - can’t be hand washing toddler socks - and find that although they seem big out of the packet, after a wash they shrink down to the lower end of the stated size range (so size 24-26 actually comes up more like 23/24) and then stay there. Great basic for winter: I love knowing that she’s got wool protecting her feet at nursery."

"Have tried a couple of different wool/silk base layers from Cambridge Baby and this is my favourite for my toddler. Washes like a dream, is lightweight and stretchy to be comfortable under other clothes and comes in lovely colours. I’ll be getting these every winter until she outgrows the biggest size or tells me to stop, whichever comes first!"

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"Having bought the linen one for myself and loved it, I bought this one in yellow organic cotton for a friend. The sizing is generous. Having got the age 6 - 10 for myself (head size 58cm), I ordered the same for her and it was just right."
