Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
A small amount of shrinkage may occur in the first couple of washes, but the clothes are made slightly bigger to accommodate this. Air dry, and re-shape while damp if necessary.
To help all your clothes last longer, always air dry rather than tumble dry.
To reduce calcium build-up which can contribute to a hardening of your clothing, add a little vinegar to your rinse cycle.

"Used these pants on my daughter, they are getting a bit small now. Love their shape and natural feel."

"We bought 3 different types of pants from Cambridge baby when we started potty training. The fabric of these nickers is lovely, the marl is soft but of the types the two pairs of these grey nickers all have little holes along the hem. These have been washed as per the instructions. And the the other nickers washed the same way, 30° cycle 1200 spin. It doesn't seem to be the seams but the fabric itself."
This was washed... had to be careful
This was worn by... My 2 year old daughter
I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.
