Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
A small amount of shrinkage may occur in the first couple of washes, but the clothes are made slightly bigger to accommodate this. Air dry, and re-shape while damp if necessary.
To help all your clothes last longer, always air dry rather than tumble dry.
To reduce calcium build-up which can contribute to a hardening of your clothing, add a little vinegar to your rinse cycle.
"great natural quality"
This was washed... washed fine
This was worn by... used it to drain elderberries and calendula soaked in oil
Sizing: A little generous
I'd recommend this to a friend.
"Great all round everything cloth. Other brands have become crunchy and old looking, but these ones soften with use and don't seem to age at all. The selvages did seem a little stiff at first, but are very soft now. Super comfy."
This was worn by... One year old, all year!
Sizing: Feels true to size
"We bought these to be used as a nappy insert and used them for our daughter for 2 years now. They were washed at least 2x per week at 95C cycle and still look exactly as they did when we bought them."
This was worn by... baby to 2 years of age
