"I wanted the socks to wear on a limestone floor to keep my feet warm. They're lovely and cosy but despite this I could still feel the cold of the floor. But I think that's more the fact that my hands and feet are always cold and not the socks!"

"I bought these to wear on slippery wooden floors - ended up giving birth in them. They are rougher, thicker, more wiry wool than expected, so have a really nice massage effect. I put them on when I went into labour as I literally had "cold feet", and they warmed my feet up nicely. When the midwife asked if she should take them off for me, I didn't want to, they felt like my birthing chain mail. Secure. Highly recommend - not just for labour."
