Wool has many benefits:
In this way, wool is a wonderful temperature-regulator, slowing down the effects of changes of temperature and helping prevent sweatiness by absorbing moisture and releasing it in response to the environment. This makes it a wonderful fabric for socks and tights for the whole family, as well as for athletes, cyclists, skiers and mountain-climbers. It's naturally high-tech and can't be beaten by synthetics!

Air-dry naturally avoiding direct heat. So, hanging on a drying rack over the bath is good, or on a clothes horse, or flat on a dry terry towel.
Re-shape while damp.
"I love these socks I’ve not worn anything since first starting to wear them several years ago. They are warm and soft, I will keep buying them."

"Lovely socks. They are warm and soft. Vest with lace up shoes and not boots for me, as they slip down a bit if they are not held on the ankle. Looks smart for work."

"Got these for my husband and brother last year. Husband went through them in a couple of weeks - holes in the toes (toenails) and putting them in the machine with other washing rather than wool cycle. Brother did slightly better. So these socks do need a bit of love and care. I love and care for my nice wool socks, but he does not!"
I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.
"V warm and soft. Great for winter."
