Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
A small amount of shrinkage may occur in the first couple of washes, but the clothes are made slightly bigger to accommodate this. Air dry, and re-shape while damp if necessary.
To help all your clothes last longer, always air dry rather than tumble dry.
To reduce calcium build-up which can contribute to a hardening of your clothing, add a little vinegar to your rinse cycle.

Soft amd gentle with enclosed elastic. She had no sore skin. So glad I found them. Bought a dozen pairs. Worth it. Even though they are very pricey"

"These are very comfy, soft pants. They are cream in colour (a natural shade of unbleached cotton) - not with blue splodges as they appear in the photo online. I am giving only 3 stars because of the poor stitching. You would think for such a price you get a decent pair of pants, right? After 2 or 3 washes I have to catch the loosening threads on the waist - otherwise the thread would come off altogether. It is possible that my boy pulls at the pants harder as he likes to be independent every since potty training. Still, we had the same issue with Living Crafts and their long sleeved vests with my other children in the past. This is the reason I bought these pants rather than the LC ones. I believe this is manufacturing issue with all of them - the threads are not properly secured, so they start unravelling easily. This is really off-putting. I want my children to wear natural fabrics on their delicate skin and I am happy to pay for it. However, I am not prepared to keep on fixing the i"
