Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
Hirsch Natur is a family business which was established in 1928 by Franz Kloppenborg, a restaurant owner who diversified into making work socks. The first machine were set up in the restaurant’s ballroom! The company is currently run by his great-grandson Matthias. While they made sturdy working socks at first, Hirsch Natur were pioneers of organic textiles. Their factory is certified to Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and has received the “IVN-Best” certification. They produce 50% of their own energy sustainably through solar panels too. Enjoy the great design, natural fabrics and comfortable, healthy feel of socks and tights developed with care and expertise over generations.
"Nice soft tights. The size 0-6 months is still big on my 7-month old boy but that doesn't prevent him from creeping everywhere! As the knit is quite stretchy and the sizing generous (even over cloth nappies), I think he'll wear them a lot. I have washed them several times already, both by hand and in the machine (in a wash bag) and they washed just fine either way."

Sizing: Too big
I'd recommend this to a friend.
"I am buying these type of tights for 2 years now, and I am very pleased with them. My son's feet started to smell because of the synthetic fibers in the products we previously used (he was 2 at the time), so we switched to "all natural" and the problem went away. Even though my son is slim, the tights hang on (allbeit a bit large). I am also very pleased with the costumer service of the company."
This was washed... had to be careful
This was worn by... my 4yo son
Sizing: A little generous
"We reside in the United States, and were unable to find this size here. Our daughter suffers from atopic eczema and food allergies, and most tights contain acrylic-these are perfect."

Sizing: Feels true to size
"These do feel different to most other children's tights as they have no elastane, they are slightly baggyish but this is a good thing for tiny legs and especially those with eczema. They are definitely made for real nappies as the bum space is large. A lovely organic product."
