Wool is naturally anti-bacterial and is brilliant at keeping the body comfortable at a wide range of temperatures.
The organic cotton is 100% GOTS certified by IMO.
Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
Hirsch Natur is a family business which was established in 1928 by Franz Kloppenborg, a restaurant owner who diversified into making work socks. The first machine were set up in the restaurant’s ballroom! The company is currently run by his great-grandson Matthias. While they made sturdy working socks at first, Hirsch Natur were pioneers of organic textiles. Their factory is certified to Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and has received the “IVN-Best” certification. They produce 50% of their own energy sustainably through solar panels too. Enjoy the great design, natural fabrics and comfortable, healthy feel of socks and tights developed with care and expertise over generations.
"I got these for my 8 month old in the 1-2 years size to try to get lots of wear from them. So pleased I did, definitely very long, so folding back to keep her shins extra warm. The gusset/bum is not massive and fits very like the tights we have in 6-12 months, so fit well. The fabric is soft and warm."

This was worn by... Active 8 month old
Sizing: Feels true to size
I'd recommend this to a friend.
"My son refuses to wear them saying they hurt...Maybe he means they are itchy to the skin! I think they will be fine with my daughter thou. They look very warm."
"Unfortunately, after several tries I had to give up getting my daughter to wear these. I got them on her twice and both times she complained that they were unbearably itchy and had to take them straight off. They looked beautiful and fitted perfectly. This was a huge disappointment. Perhaps they need to go over tights, but it would need to be sub-zero for that as they are very warm in their own right."
This was worn by... Very sadly, no one (intended for four-year-old)
I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.
"My son has been wearing these as and extra layer of warmth under normal trousers, another pair of thicker woolen trousers over the top, or simply by themselves because he really loves wearing them. I find them slightly scratchier than some of the other brands of woolen leggings but my son still loves them so I think he is comfortable. I bought natural thinking they would only be an undergarment but as he wanted to wear them on their own often, they have had many full on mud and grass stains to the knees which have always come out pretty easily with a hand wash and delicate ecover washing liquid, a little softer and they would have been a 5 star."

"Love these leggings for everyday wear, and for under jeans for camping. They fit for ages too, just get shorter and tighter until I bought the next size up."
