Merino Wool Fleece Sleeping Bag with Sleeves
£62.00
Super snuggly sack
"We used this every cold Autumn or Winter night. Our house can be chillier (old stone not modern built) and the babies have always enjoyed plenty of fresh air too. It was lovely and snuggly and covered her arms beautifully. I found it helpful to realise that tog ratings on synthetic sleep sacks only measure the heat retention properties of the fabric, and don't take into consideration whether it has, for example, open sleeves, shoulder straps, just covers the torso etc. I'm a big fan of letting the kids sleep in natural breathable materials which I think are safer, more hygienic and more comfortable. But not having easily comparable tog ratings used to put me off until I realised what nonsense it was since it didn't account for how well covered baby was! You're better off following your instincts and observing how they're doing for yourself."

I had this last winter
"It was super fluffy to start with but the neck was on the bigger side, so on very cold nights I’d use a neck warmer too. It quickly became flat which is normal for wool, but I’m not sure it’s as warm as 2.5 tog. However, we used it daily during autumn and winter and I love that it has sleeves as many sleep bags don’t. It remained soft but I definitely think it shrunk a bit in the wash, so we only had one winters use out of it. Don’t regret buying it at all, and I would recommend to others with the suggestion to not wash unless you need to (my son was sick on it a few times so was forced to). Also recommend layering up quite a bit on cold nights, as even with a Marino vest and sleepsuit it wasn’t warm enough down to 15 degrees, so I’d double up a sleepsuit and sometimes even put socks on top too."
This was washed... It did shrink a bit but was washed many times (in wool friendly detergent, and a wool cycle)

Quality and cosy
"Soft wool, sturdy two-way zip with protective piece at the neck. Folded back the sleeves as they were long initially. Washing advice came on the tag."

so soft and cosy
"Got it for my toddler (21 months at receipt) in autumn, she's been sleeping in it every night since, so cozy!! The zip can be a bit fiddly but not really an issue to date. Kind of considering getting one for my 5 week old baby too as it feels much better and less bulky than the synthetic ones we have for her..."

Amazing but flimsy zip
"Have used throughout late autumn, winter and early spring for our baby who is now a toddler. We had 2 sizes of this sleeping bag because we loved it so much. However, the zip could be made bigger and sturdier (for example like the Disana boiled wool bags), it catches on itself really easily and gets stuck at the most inopportune moments. Saying that, I would still buy again as I haven’t found another sleeping bag that’s as soft, comfortable, good at regulating temperature and with sleeves!"

Yet another lovely sleeping bag
"This is the third sleeping bag I've bought from Cambridge Baby and it is just as marvellous as the other two. It is lovely and soft, fits well and is perfect for chillier weather."
